I like the idea just wondering about the drunk drivers out there. There’s a lot of things that go into something like this and I’m hoping everything is looked at and taken into consideration. Because it’s not people texting and driving it’s the drunks those who have their phone because it either died or no cellphone service. I think it’s a great idea provided that certain things are taken into consideration

it is imperative that Tow Trucks are included in this alert. Towers are emergency responders, clearing road ways, assisting motorist and Police.

Slow down

This is vital to keep all emergency response personnel safe. By emergency personal you must also include tow trucks, roadside maintenance vehicles, and road workers. Too many of these professionals are being hurt and killed by distracted drivers or people who do not follow the slow down and move over laws. Do I think this will stop that? No, but anything we can do to warn people to pay attention is going to help the cause.

This should not just stop for towers, police cars, ambulances, and fire trucks, but service trucks as well. All of these guys/women are out there risking their lives everyday. Move over and slow down. Let them go home to their families.
