I have employed hundreds of Highway Heroes (emergency roadside responders) throughout the years and we work hard to rescue stranded motorists and take them and their vehicles to safety and or repair. Of all my drivers and drivers throughout the US, we lose their lives at alarmning rates mainly because of distracted drivers. If you were to alert the distracted drivers and advise them to Slow down and Move over, you would be the Hero's Hero! Your assistance can ensure many parents return to their kids at night. We appreicate your consideration. It truly is life or death over here.

I'm a former NYC traffic reporter who has a son-in-law who's a cop. I recorded special traffic safety prompts for Waze with a "slow down/move over" message that plays when emergency vehicles are reported on the shoulder. This is excellent for everybody--motorists & emergency responders of all types (including tow trucks which often get left out, yet risk their lives just the same).

My husband is A Tow Truck Operator. Every 6 days a Tow Truck Driver is killed. Slow Down Move Over is in place to help save the lives of All first Responders working the White lines of the Road We drive.
