Implementation of new country names
Some countries have changed their names recently and on the Waze maps are still these outdated names:
Czech Republic - > Czechia
Macedonia - > North Macedonia
Swaziland - > Eswatini
Today the other map providers show these new country names.

Yea, Czechia! Why? Because the name Czechia is sole correct short name of the Czech Republic - the result of a long professional discussion, which ended in a clear victory of this name in the vote of experts in the field of linguistics, geography, history and marketing.

Yes, it is necessary to update "the Czech Republic" to Czechia. Maps naturally include geographic names, not their state titles, such as kingdoms, republics, etc. By the way, Czechia is not "new," it is an old-established historical name. So, please, do not hesitate to use Czechia!

Google maps, Apple maps, TomTom, ESRI and others have updated their maps with these new names. It is time for waze to do the same. Thank you.
