Support of Apple CarPlay Split Screen View

Now that Apple has allowed developers access to developing/modifying their apps to use in CarPlay's split screen view, will we see such a feature soon? This is the main feature I have been waiting for.

Yeah it would be muc pleasure for using waze rather than google maps on apple carplay splitted screen since waze more informative in turn-to-turn directions and ETA.
