Get rid of info screen at start
Dear Waze UX design team,
I see that recently you made some progress on Waze's UI/UX.. unfortunately in the wrong direction, that makes the most important thing (navigation) slightly less accessible. For now, these "improvements" remain a minor UX nuisance compared to the good old major UX blunder: the info screen that comes up right after punching in a new destination.
The main reason for using a navigation software is to retrieve information about WHICH WAY TO GO next in order to reach my intended destination. The info screen pop-up is just 100% covering up this very essential information, exactly when I need it most: while trying to decide WHICH WAY TO GO next after setting off.
Do you have info and stats on my upcoming route? That's fine. Well done! Who cares? I am not interested in your fancy programming and math skills. I just want to know WHICH WAY TO GO next.
