I agree. At least be able to identify the lane(s) (or opposite direction, or both) when posting things like an accident, police, object, etc.

Waze used to have an option to pick the fastest route, but it’s gone.
Please bring it back!
That is the main reason I use Waze and now, if you see on my app settings, I haven’t used it in so long because it takes me through different streets and the drive is way longer.

If I set a destination to somewhere with the Waze app, I can see a "Routes" button in the app: https://imgur.com/a/7FKQggR

It shows other possible routes to my destination.

But I can see, many times, it shows a faster route in this "Routes" vs. my current time what Waze says.

So meanwhile I am driving, I have to tap on the Routes, then select the faster route.

So Waze knows faster routes, but for unkown reason, it doesn't re-plan my route to that faster route, rather it still shows me the older one.

Several GPS applications can indicate which lane to be in when following directions. Take this a step further by using traffic feedback to determine the best lane to be in when moving through a traffic jam. When identifying an accident situation, note which lane it effects and provide guidance to move into a better lane.

Mark certain routes as "ezWAZE" if it is fastest easiest way i.e. minimal left turns or develop a sister app calles "ezWAZE".

I live between two very busy routes, but although I have quickest routes enabled, I am constantly taken out of the way going through small side streets when I have main roads I can take. I have to use my own discretion and then let WAZE recalculate.

In certain places around strip malls and roads parallel to the highway, the inner (left) lane is not always the fastest. Why not allow users to indicate which lane moves the fastest for the quickest navigation
