    Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

    sound great and automated to me.

    Simlar to when Waze asks me if I am stuck in traffic if I pull off to the side for a second.

    lane closure is great to know which lane(s) to avoid ahead--for construction, accidents, objects, police, etc. Not only the traveling lane in your direction, but also the shoulders, exit/entrance lanes, and opposite travel direction.

    Not needed since Waze automatically opens the road when cars start to drive through.

    great options!

    Also:
    -display rest areas for a (pay on exit per distance) toll road/turnpike option for gas, food, etc. first. I would not want to usually pay extra toll get off the turnpike just to pay cheaper gas or fast food.

    -sort by distance is great if you are searching for the cheapest & closest gas on a route before you car goes empty in 10 miles versus 100 miles

    -the more options you can set as default in your preferences (rather than while driving), the better

    -yep. Interfacing to gas buddy on the Waze back end is easier for me than having 2 apps running at the same time.

    This is the best idea in Waze. More than the final solution, I want to see the possible methods to implement this. The only thing I can think of is activating Waze on some of my phones, and taping it to some of the police cars. :)

    I agree. At least be able to identify the lane(s) (or opposite direction, or both) when posting things like an accident, police, object, etc.

    I agree. All waze users should be able to at least see (read-only) all fields in the WME including for LG. It would be easier to identify and get issues fixed, even it everyone cannot actually fix (create/edit/write) the issue.
