Predictive Routing
As awesome as Waze is, the fact that it can never remember my route to work is a little annoying. Every week I drive the same route to the office and Waze takes me on a similar route, I think that if you drive the same route enough times to and from the same locations, Waze should recognize that and load the route you always take as the main route.

I've been driving the same route to and from work for years and I use Waze constantly because I appreciate the live updates. Unfortunately, Waze suggests a different route every day instead of following my repetitive, preferred route. Worse, every time it updates, it cuts off what I'm listening to which is doubly annoying. It should learn from my habits and take me on the exact route I prefer. If you can't make your system intuitive so it learns from my driving habits, at least let me add a specific route to my system so I can MAKE it take me on the route I prefer. Thanks for listening and thanks for all the help I get while I'm using Waze! Let's make it better!

Waze could use AI to learn the routes I use most frequently to reach a destination.
For example, to get to work I always take a route through a neighborhood that almost never appears in the suggested routes, but which is faster for me.
If Waze detects that I repeat the same route 5–10 times, it could automatically save it as a Custom Route and show me that option along with the main routes. This way I can see if it has traffic and easily compare it.
This would allow Waze to adapt to my actual habits, not just the standard routes. Please vote for Waze to implement this. -

unfortunately similar for me, working in a town center and waze just picks some random direction and navigates after rather than using my usual routs which are way faster to exit. Annoying when you're doing it 20 times a day!

I frequently drive a hundred mile route between 2 cities. I like to use Waze for road alerts along the way. There are at least 3 major routes that I can take, each within 15 - 20 minutes difference in duration. Waze always chooses the shortest duration route but I prefer a slightly longer route on a less busy route. I do not want to be bombarded with directions to MAKE A U-TURN, TURN AROUND. How about a little AI to recognize, "oh he ALWAYS takes this route to that destination." Obviously, it would still be nice to know if a SERIOUS backup exists on my route.

I would like a feature that shows routes I’ve taken in the past or most popular routes I’ve taken in the past as an option even if it is not a quicker route. Then I would know why I am taking a different route today.

Maybe not exactly that but more like Waze noticing where you can make up some time. On my daily commute, there are a few roads where there's never any traffic and you can make up a lot of time. It would be nice if Waze notices that.
