Camper option
Hi, I wanted to propose an option that is to be able to enter the measurements of the campers (W x H x D) in order to have specific indications. It would also make use of the collaboration of users in order to improve directions on the route. Unfortunately, the other satellite navigators are not as interactive as Waze. Thank you

I agree with other posted comments. It would be much better than RV Life. Thanks

I also use another app for driving with the caravan, it would be a very nice feature to have within Waze

This would allow you to capture a large portion of an in captured market. Height and weight restricted roads are a HAZARD to motor homes and RVs. To be able to have real-time suggestions to avoiding hazards that do not apply to a standard car would be awesome!

Add vehicle option to include RVs (Recreational Vehicles) including width, height and weight. I realize this is a longterm goal but one that is needed. I am based in the US, a member of several RV Clubs and Groups including the Escapees RV Club, FMCA and Airstream with over 150,000 members, President of a regional RV group with over 50,000 members. I always promote WAZE as a navigation app with the caveat that the app does not include height, width or weight allowances. If we can move forward with this suggestion, I will be willing to assist by writing articles for national rv club magazines and solicit the help of the rv community which is in the millions.

I always use waze but if I tow our camper I have to change to Sygic. It´s nice to get a correct ETA and to avoid low Bridges and small Streets. I always check the Apps with a route to a place in France where may campers have to return because of a low bridge. If I get the correct route with this app I can trust the system.

This has my full support, as I use a separate device for this purpose. I would note an exception however, I believe WA is the only State which legally dictates a lower towing speed. Accordingly, those choosing to drive slower would be seeking some additional, non-navigational, coding which they could use to replace their maximum Hwy speed for calculating destination time.

That's similar to having multiple car profiles. Most homes have multiple cars of different types hence needing different profiles, one per car.

Adding RV information allows me to use the already wonder Waze app. If Waze does not add this data, I will have to go to a competitor whom has this data built in.

Without it it is impossible to use waze safely in the camper.

Not only would it make life easier, it would make it much safer! Shouldn’t be too difficult with this having the user able to add content.

Low Clearance or vehicle height would be very helpful and give alternate routes. Users could give low bridge height like they do police or hazards

This would make life Soo much easier for RVers. Do it!

Add a RV option with height and weight

It would be useful to have an option to add size (height, width, length) of the car to avoid to ride on to small narrow roads or get stuck in a low overpasses, etc. with my Camper Van.
Just a thought to help fellow Campers & Truckers avoid getting in a bind! Maybe even reporting ability to height/weight restrictions on certain roads... -

Een toevoeging caravan zou een meerwaarde zijn
Zodanig dat er word aangegeven waar je mag rijden
Hoelang je rit zal duren en de aangegeven kosten voor mensen met een caravan -

Hi Waze
Congratulations on a superb navigating app.I'm beginner
Im a full time caravanner
Can i give voice commands to get Waze to input an accident or police or other icon while I'm driving.
(instead of hands off steering wheel & taking eyes off the road, & using a mobile phone while driving)Can Waze, when determining a route, consider long vehicles (eg semi trailer or caravan) for suitable routes & speed limits. Eg. I only go to 90kph as that is my fuel sweet spot on the open road. Towing heavier vans, speed is limited to 100kph in most states.
Just asking 😉
Kind regards
Happy Australia Day

A option to set top speed. For when driving a RV or a camper. In Sweden it’s 80km/h. So if you press camper option it shows the time and route for a top speed at 80km/h. Not routes just option to set the top speed

Avoir la possibilité de choisir entre fourgon, camionnette, camping car, camion... car souvent waze fait prendre des raccourcis pour éviter un bouchon ou autre et il se trouve que ça passe juste surtout si on a une remorque derrière le fourgon...

Hi, I love Waze and use it whenever I need navigation but that is often when I have the caravan on the back of the car. Do you have any plans to be able to add a caravan as an option this not taking you down unsuitable roads, and, calculating the arrival time taking in to account the reduced speed limits?
I’d happily pay for this as an ‘extra’.
I currently use another app when towing, but unfortunately it is not CarPlay compatible.

Bonjour,
Existera-t-il une fonction camping-car ?
Pour gérer un gabarit sur un VL, localiser une aire de service, etc ...
