The app is always closing when it is in the background or my phone screen is off. Android.
When I'm on my motorcycle my phone is in my pocket. Or when I need to stop and open up some other apps and do something the Waze process will kill.
Battery optimization for this app is turned off.
Many other apps work perfectly fine in the background, stop blaming Android.
I've read that ways says that this is intended behavior, add a switch please because the "intended behavior" is stupid. This auto closing behavior makes this app pretty useless because I need to go along distances without looking at my phone and I need to rely on the instruction to take a turn coming up when I need to take the turn not being constantly paranoid that the app has shut down. I've had to move on to Google maps because of this problem. Please allow me to come back to Waze by fixing this.
