Motorcycle Horizontally Mounted Phone
Dear Waze Team,
I use Waze on my motorcycle and would like to make two suggestions to improve Waze for all motorcyclists. I mount my phone horizontally on my motorcycle handlebar. But the problem I experienced with the phone being mounted horizontally is that the map on Waze is not completely visible.
The search destination bar at the botton of the screen is covering a lot of the map when there is no destination entered. Would it be possible to make a small enter destination button at the side of the screen for example below or above the speedometer instead of the huge search destination bar at the bottom of the screen. The map at the bottom of the screen would be much more visible then.
The Next Turns display at the top left of the screen covers a lot of the map. Almost a quarter of the map is not visible because of this. Would it be possible to make the Next Turns display smaller? The only thing I need is an arrow pointing the direction of the next turn. It would be great if the distance and streetname could be made optional.
I think I am not the only motorcyclist experiencing these problems and I think the features mentioned above could be a great addition to Waze, especially for motorcycle users who use Waze with a horizontally mounted phone.
Thanks in advance and with kind regards,
Tim
