Recalculate button and earlier "heavy traffic reported head" warning
I use Waze regularly and quite often 2 things come to mind.
1. Why isn't there a "recalculate" botton available so that I can force Waze to recalculate my optimal road whenever I want to?
For example:
On my way to work every morning (35 km/22 miles away), there is a section of the highway where the road splits in two, and depending on traffic, sometimes going to the right is faster, while other times is faster on the left. Many times Waze would suggest one of the options when I leave home and when I am about to reach this section I click search and click on My saved work address again- and it sends me the other way.
A great "recalculate" function would allow the users to recalculate the optimal path (according to their individual settings on the app) by simply clicking on the "recalculate" button, without having the re-enter their destination.
2. Why is the "heavy traffic reported head" warning playing when we are already in the heavy traffic?
Wouldn't it be better to have a setting allowing the user to select how many miles/kilometers ahead we want to be warned?
Or an even better option would be to warn the drivers when we still have alternative options to change roads. You know like "heavy traffic reported after the next exit" kind of thing.
