Please can you urgently fix the excessive battery drain and heating of the phone caused by using Waze after installing of IOS 16 on iphone

Very fast battery drain and consequent heating of the phone is phenomenal after installing IOS 16

    I'm afraid this sounds way more like an iOS matter than a Waze matter. You said it yourself, *after* the iOS 16 update, your phone overheats while using Waze, but Waze didn't change between before and after you updated to iOS 16 (unless you just so happened to updated Waze to its latest version straight after iOS 16).
    Either way, as a fellow Wazer, this sounds like Apple's shenanigans.
