I was driving the road was closed due to flood and I was unable to report it and Waze had me going in circles.

Please give us an option to report road closures. It’s so frustrating constantly coming across them. Obviously they also cause avoidable traffic congestion

I found new "improvement" horrible, as if you know a closure is a few blocks up ahead, you cant report it anymore. Horrible and nigh useless

I have had the misfortune of having 3 road closures on my commute over the past month.
2 planned by the council and one burst water main.

Non have been updated on the waze app no matter how many times I try to get it noticed by reporting it, noting it on the editor emailing the reports address.

The current system is so bad its making me switch to google maps who do, and have updated the roads as closed within a day or so.
In Waze it has been weeks and still not updated for the first closure.

Taking the reporting feature off Android auto and carplay is short sighted to say the least.

I would have thought after sending hundreds if not thousands of cars down a closed road and every single one turning around or not taking the directions it would be easy to detect and automatically flag for an edit?

Impossible to report road closures on my phone ( iPhone13 pro)
Nothing happens when I tap any arrows on the map to report a closed road. I’ve tried to use this feature many times but always failed.

This app is super useful, but today after serious flooding in my area I realized some major downsides... Please make it easier to report road closures!! Once you turn around, you can't report that the road behind you is closed and sometimes you need to move out of the way NOW! I wish I could still report after I've driven away. Also, if a road is local traffic only but fully closed further ahead, I can't report that the road is closed up ahead. Also, add a feature to report how much flooding there is when people report a flooding hazard, like "minor/moderate" or "road not passable" because people will report all water in the road as flooding. Thank you!

No matter how much you tap all over the screen you can't report a road closure. Also can't do it on the run and map is too convoluted. You should provide a comment box to type in or say the name of the road and nearest cross street where closure is. And you can do it at any time even after you stop driving or reach your destination. The road closure will still be closed.
