Waze way too often doesn't work or, worse, drops connection mid-drive! I suppose this is because of my Genmobile carrier limitation. Then I have to use Maps.Me Android navigation app that somehow always works but I don't like its interface.

Currently, when offline, the voice is disabled so I still drive but have to be constantly looking at the screen for directions...just enable the voice when offline, just like how Google maps does it

I love the way the waze is helping us. It could serve more better if you provide Offline map service. I love to use waze however when i dont have data then problem comes and i have to shift on other offline map service provider like Yango or Google.
Please thumbs up if you want offline service of waze.

Please add this feature; it's the only thing holding this app back for me. I love the way Waze navigates, live alerts or not, but I live in an area where If I leave the main Interstate corridor (which is kinda where I would need navigation), I quickly lose my data connection. I understand Waze caches along the currently set route but If I know I'm going to be in an area I'd rather be able to download the basic maps ahead of time, so I'm not forced to use competing apps if I'm doing anything more than a there-and-back trip to a single address.

Having Offline maps is so important to anyone especially when unable to access to internet connection like many people around the world and for using Offline navigation and maps allow for having all features that Waze Offers and every time you connect to internet it updates some infos about Police cameras and more

When i go somewhere outside my home country, first I want to download the choice route and than to only type the country ir town and download the whole map.

So when I'm online again or having wi-fi to update with the latest updates.

I don't like offline downloading process of Google Maps but this is the only source of truth for me so far.

Can y’all please do this

I went camping, used waze to get there, couldn't use waze to get back until I found somewhere with reception. It was a scary trip not knowing really how to get back when a lot of it was one way roads so I couldn't just go the way I came.
I would REALLY like waze to offer download option for your routes there and offer a "download return route" option. Please please please. 🙏🏼

Get straight to the point: TWO ideas
1. We must be able to download a part of the map, in order to be able to use it completely offline. Of course no updates on traffic and stuff, but it’s an essential feature.
2. Be able to search not only the street number , but an intersection…For example…I wanna go to *** street , intersection with yyy street ( a corner basically )

I like the features and some of the voices really much. It doesn't matter that the map doesn't show much than streets and buildings, it can be even an advantage considering the data use. Speaking of which, it would be great if you could download the voices and maps of states/countries or areas so that not too much data is used and that you can start a route even in areas where no connection is available.
It would be also great if you could view the maps even without GPS, just to plan routes or in case GPS doesn't work like once on my old device.

The big and obvious one, is to add support for offline maps, it’s such a big feature and yet such a common feature in almost all maps, such as google maps and even Apple Maps is getting it this year. But also supporting dual frequency gps on apple devices. Currently the only Apple iPhones that have this hardware are the iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 pro max, which consists of the legacy L1 frequency but also the modernised L5 frequencies. Having this gps capability supported would allow for much greater accuracy and performance in navigation as the combination of L1 and L5 frequencies together would allow for signals to pass through large obstacles such as buildings and trees compared to only L1.

Currently there are some limitations to navigation while in offline mode. Whilst some are understandable, not being able to see real-time closures, for instance, the biggest problem with offline mode as it stands just now is the cached roads don't seem to respect the segment data that may restrict travel along them.

As a member of the community has found (https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2324443#p2324443) when navigating offline, even 24/7 restrictions in place on the map do not get respected and the user gets directed through them.
This could cause many issues for the users involved which would not have came up with an active data connection.

I would suggest having this data saved internally in the app as many other parts of map data must be would make the routing more reliable and trustworthy when the user has an intermittent data connection.
This data is already present in a similar way to turn restrictions which currently *do* work as expected so the potential is there.

Poderia ter a possibilidade de baixar mapas off-line como o maps do google ,e poder baixar os mapas pra usar quando estiver sem sinal ,porque no Brasil a internet é precária .

While driving in a “No Network Connection” area, be able to report hazards, police, speed-traps, etc… so when the maps updates it’s shown for the other drivers that will go through that area.

Please could you enable us to change Work title to a custom name as not all of us are able to work. Also to be able to download maps to use Waze offline. Many thanks
