I agree! I have posted this before, but the responses I got was questioning if I had voice/direction alerts on at all. I was trying to communicate that the turn alerts are not early enough ahead of turn, especially at freeway speeds. There maybe needs to be an accounting for speed limits on roads when determining the timing of turn alerts (i.e. at freeway speeds notify 3-6 seconds earlier).
