GREAT idea. Because it starts so fast, I have been waiting for the Drive now to load, then looking at "Routes" to look at alternative. roads.

Yes please remove. Half the time it doesn't close when you press X.

So, just wanted to comment on the use case of why this is not needed. First of all, when you are using wireless android auto, your phone is automatically connected to the head unit. At least in my car, the Waze display does not automatically come up, but I have learned to double-hit the voice-rec steering wheel button twice and then Waze will come up. If I wanted to navigate somewhere, I would hit the voice-rec button and say "navigate to...".
IN addition, when you do use the voice-rec button to "Open Waze", you should not be required to move your hands from the steering wheel to then hit ANOTHER button on the head unit to disable this pop-up.
Once starting waze on the head unit display, I don't need an additional distraction of having to dismiss a pop-up of optional navigation while I'm driving.
I think that this is a BUG as it's causing me an additional distraction while driving. Make this not appear, or at least time out after a few seconds.

Fully agree that the Go now/Leave now button (not sure how it is called in the English app) is not required. In the majority of the cases you are already sitting in the car and are in a rush to leave to reach the destination.

Absolutely useless feature. 99% of my driving does not require route planning. If you can drive a car and operate a cell phone, anyone should be able to manually search a previous destination without being spoon fed the options at every startup. The most annoying thing about every drive is having to deal with this. Many times it will not manually close, requiring stopping and restarting the app. Not safe in my opinion. Using S22 Ultra on a 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance, not the car, this replicates in a BMW i4 as well. Please retire this horrible line of code asap.

Literally signed up only to post this here.
Please give the option to disable this annoying "feature". It is of zero use to me and is making me consider switching to another app for primary navigation.

Cela m'intéresse également de pouvoir désactiver "drive now" dès le démarrage sur android auto.

Use case - most trips are those we know our way to, and we don't need to type in the location so waze can tell us how to get there. We use Waze for alerts along our way. I probably use the navigation once out of twenty trips, at best. This feature is not helpful at all, it's one more notification for users to have to dismiss. There's also no benefit to it, as it still requires interaction. It's just as many taps to hit the microphone icon and tell it where you want to go as it is to use the provided pop-up. Just disable the thing, please, and help decrease world suck.

I request my destination via Google assistant so I don't have to touch the screen but this annoying Go Now button requires me to touch the screen anyway. If I let the time count down it still goes into the painfully long winded explaination of the route it chose and then starts trying to give me instructions from three streets ago before catching up. Either make it detect that I'm already moving amd get on with navigation or make a setting to turn the Go Now button off amd choose the default route based on route preference settings.

It is only recently started happening but I cannot close the dialog box and it takes up half of the screen. Am I missing the setting in order to turn this off because on my day-to-day basis I just like to see the map so I know what streets might be coming up. I know where I'm going on a fairly regular basis and don't need to enter destination every time I get in the car. I need to be able to turn this off so I can see the map
