Copilot feature
I have a suggestion that I think would be excellent and differentiating from other applications. This is a functionality that could be called "Copilot", and that allows a device with a Waze account to establish a new destination to a different device. For example, I have Waze on my device while I'm driving, and my wife can set a new destination for me from her own device without having to touch mine, for that reason I thought the function could be called "Copilot".
This same functionality would also be very useful when navigating with CarPlay, so that I can continue focusing on driving while my co-driver is in charge of searching for and setting a new destination en route, such as an en route gas station, place to eat or visit, etc. And without me as the driver having to touch anything, a new destination or stop will automatically be established in my Waze.

+1, sometimes my phone get disconnected from mobile data on rural zones and for some reason waze stops showing the current route in the middle of the road, it distracts a lot and a copilot function while my phone is connected to google auto can potentially help to put destinations back on waze without inputting it on google auto when that happens.
I have to remind you that waze always says that you must not interact with it when you are on route and most important that waze disables phone controls when it's connected to android auto or carplay. It can also helps with reporting issues on the road more effectively without doing it on the car screen.

Totally agree! This would be very helpful while driving and ensure safer driving by avoiding temtation for the driver to make changes themselves mid-drive. Also, it would be great if the "co-pilot" could respond to "alerts" by clicking the prompts, as I find these to be distracting and potentially hazardous when behind thw wheel.

Waze always alerts that you must not interact with it while driving... why not to create a Copilt mode? I use (as many around here) Waze on a smartphone, close on front of me, and when traveling, on any case that i need to change or report on something in the app, I have to take the smartphone off the support, and give to my wife on the passenger seat for her to interact, and then put that on the support again to keep navigating easily.
If i can send her a link por something that enables her to interact with my route, it will be awesome.
Permissions and everything consider, and safety, off course. -

Add a copilot feature so someelse in the car, on their own device, can enter feedback about issues which effect drivers such as reporting cars on side of the road, hazards etc.
