Waze needs to read the speed of Wazers in a Standstill Traffic Jam better. In the last couple of months, I have not been re-routed around terrible standstill traffic jams because Waze thinks the "Standstill" is moving at 15 mph when, in reality, you're literally idling and moving a few feet every couple of minutes. I see where the app tracks Wazers, so why can't it use their average speed, which was closer to 3 mph? In the last few months, I have been caught in very long traffic jams because Waze thinks the route your on is faster than the alternate, sometimes leading to standing still for over an hour. I'm also a traffic engineer and am not over dramatizing these waits and speeds.
