Sidekicks
Allow to have sidekicks not give directions. I love hearing street names. Sidekicks can speak when no directions are given. Such as on long roads, when stopped, etc.

My wife would like to have a Gordon Ramsay sidekick. I think it would be great for him to give directions and throw some insults in there, especially when you made a wrong turn.
