I'm using an alternative GPS until I hear Thomas has been restored.

Please bring back the original, restful, clear Thomas voice. The replacement shouts at you and is unbearable.

I really like the old Thomas with street names voice. Old Thomas was like having a proper English butler in the car with me. His voice came through the car speaker more clearly than any of the current voices. I also liked his pronunciation of many of the street names. The app seems much more useful when the street names are called out during the drive. I read that Waze had a celebrity comedian's voice, so I switched to the new voice. After a few minutes, I was no longer amused and tried to switch back to the original Thomas (UK) with street names, but alas, he had departed, permanently. Please give new Thomas the sack and put the original Thomas (UK) with street names, back on the payroll. Thank you.

I implore you, please return the original UK Thomas voice. The one that replaced him is curt and does not give directions correctly. The original UK Thomas voice had everything down correctly, he was calm and collected, and rarely made mistakes in directions. You NEED to return the UK Thomas from before this new one. If the original UK Thomas is not returned within a reasonable window of time I will be deactivating my accounts, deleting the app from ALL of my devices, and spreading the word among all of my associates and colleagues to do the same.

Waze, PLEASE listen and return the old Kate and Thomas. The new voices are atrocious and unlistenable.

I see no benefit to the new voice. Perhaps there was some improvements back end but thomas and Kate are absolutely horrible now. Massive step backwards.

Bring back old Thomas UK with street names. Female Kylie AU with street names has the perfect cadence and style like the old Thomas UK with street names, and would be perfect if you could use Thomas’s lower pitched voice. Anyone having hyperacusis or sensitivity to high frequencies or pitch will appreciate listening to the deeper voice. Thanks!

I can't use the replacement nor any of the alts, so waze is now muted & after many years of recommending it to others, I'm considering other satnav apps instead

It's a safety issue.
I am a hearing-impaired driver, higher frequencies are inaudible regardless of their volume.
Original Thomas was the only voice in a lower register who knew the street names.
Waze's cancellation of this reasonable accommodation for a physical disability is not only discriminatory but also unsafe and possibly illegal under the ADA.

If you wanted a new Thomas, you should have left the old one and just added a Thomas 2. Or maybe try out a new name. But instead the good UK Thomas was replaced with a bad one. Check your facebook posts. You'll see the public wants him back.

Also bring back UK Kate, not the new Kate or Kate 2.

Why make the voice so clinical? Add a bit of softness and flare.

I totally agree!! The same with Siri. I had the guy Australian. Now they changed it. I don’t like the new one on it either.
