Lane suggestions
Recently went on a road trip where google maps told me what lane to be in when I was exiting the highway but Waze just said exit.
My understanding is that Waze determines if the situation necessitates telling you what lane to be in but shoes it visually.
I personally use a voice navigation system so I don't HAVE TO LOOK at a screen while navigating through traffic. This is especially important in places I am unfamiliar with. It might be easy for locals to know to go directly left, and your data might show that most cars go directly left, but accidents happen to the people who don't know. That is who the navigation apps are suppose to be for. Those who DONT know.
