My suggestion is to add a “special” feature and has to be developed carefully: to have in clear in the waze map the warning about trip position of “emergency cars in action”
I mean: for police, ambulance, fire truck,… only when in action (sirens on and flashing lights on) a “red flashing dot” appears in the Waze map during their route
Me, as car driver, can be informed about it and modify my actions in order not to hinder their actions and to give them space
Main intention is not to track them, especially police cars, but during their actions to be more helpful

Here in Italy we have many narrow roads and many times we need “Tetris solutions” to let ambulance to have space, slowing down their action

I think quite all those vehicles today have a track , the point is to “get public” their track; I repeat, only when they open it and in actions
