Red Wolves are critically endangered and living in North Carolina near the Outer Banks. Several Red Wolves have been killed by vehicle strikes as millions of people travel to the beach each year. Sadly, many humans and different wildlife species have also lost their lives in this area because many in the traveling public simply do not know what they are traveling through, which is one of the most fragmented habitats within the East Coast. We need a Red Wolf icon and a tagline alerting motorists to slow down once they enter into Red Wolf country. This will not only save the lives of the most endangered wolf on the planet, it will save human lives and other wild lives! US 64/US 264 and NC 94 are the main highways needing alerts in this area. Please help us reach the traveling public!
