New report “Animal Help”
Hello Waze team,
I have an idea for a new type of community report that could help save animals and engage your users in a meaningful way.
The idea: allow users to mark the location of a stray animal on the map with a specific icon (e.g., a paw). Additional status stickers could indicate if the animal has food, water, or if it is in poor health. This would help local animal lovers and rescue organizations respond faster, while strengthening the Waze community spirit.
The report could expire automatically after 24–48 hours to avoid map clutter. It could also optionally show links to local animal welfare organizations.
This small addition could have a big social impact and bring positive media attention to Waze.
Thank you for considering!
