My specific proposal is to:

1. Consistently offer alternative route options during navigation.
2. Display key metrics for each alternative, specifically: · The difference in estimated arrival time (e.g., +10 min). · The difference in total distance (e.g., -5 km).

Presenting the information in a clear format like "+6 min / -8 km" would allow users to make an informed decision at a glance. This empowers users to choose a route that better suits their preference (e.g., saving time vs. saving fuel) and could also contribute to better overall traffic flow.

While alternative routes sometimes appear, they often only show the time difference, omitting the distance—which is a crucial factor in decision-making.

Implementing this would be greatly appreciated by your users and would make an excellent app even better.
