If a road is closed or very congested it would be great to have a way to tell Waze to calculate an alternate route. This could also be useful if the driver wanted to avoid a part of the route for any reason. One way would be to have a "change route" button. Another would be to have a setting that specified after # number of commands are ignored a new route would be automatically calculated based on the direction you are currently going. We just had to put up with about a thousand "make a U turn" messages before Waze realized where we wanted to go was now the best route.
