As of today, November 29, 2025, the available fuel types within Waze are solely combustion-engine selections: Unleaded, Diesel, Super UL, and Super Diesel. It is about time that Waze includes the Electric fuel type to acknowledge the increasing user base of EVs. Second, if the platform really wants to optimize navigation for Electric Vehicle owners, then it needs to introduce an ability to filter charging locations dependent on a specific user's outlet type and preferred charging network. This could be a compatibility feature, much like what is currently available on Google Maps, that helps with effective EV routing. I am presently dependent on Waze, but these crucial EV-specific routing additions would allow me and all other electric vehicle drivers to maximize the use of this app. Thank you for considering this essential feedback.
