It would be very useful if Waze could show a user’s previous driving history to the same destination.
Today, Waze only shows a small history/search icon for places that appeared in my past searches or navigation history. However, this does not provide enough useful information about when I actually drove there or how long the drive took.
The main benefit would be the ability to quickly see when I last drove to that destination. For example, if I search for a place I visited before, Waze could show the last time I navigated there, along with previous trips to the same destination.
This could include:
● The date and time of the last trip
● Previous trips to the same destination
● The actual driving time for each trip
● Average travel time based on my own history
● Best and worst travel times I personally experienced
This would help users remember when they last visited a place, and also better understand how long the drive usually takes for them based on their own real driving history - not only based on current traffic estimates.
For destinations I visit from time to time, such as family, work, school, appointments, or places I do not visit regularly, this feature could make trip planning and personal tracking much easier.
