Flock camera NOT police
Please stop treating Flock Safety license-plate reader cameras like police/enforcement cameras.
Flock cameras are automated license-plate readers, not police officers running radar and not necessarily speed or red-light enforcement cameras. When Waze alerts drivers to every Flock camera as though it is an enforcement/police camera, the warnings become excessive and make the useful alerts less meaningful.
Please either remove Flock/ALPR cameras from enforcement alerts or create a separate ALPR category that users can turn off independently.
And YES — give me police ahead. Give me speed trap. Give me red-light camera. I do not need Waze yelling at me every ¼ mile because Georgia bought another Flock camera. 😂

Waze currently has a category intended for mobile police/speed-enforcement cameras, but users are increasingly misusing it to report stationary Flock ALPR cameras. This is generating false alerts throughout communities and degrading the usefulness of legitimate police-camera warnings. Waze should prevent or discourage Flock cameras from being reported as mobile police cameras, or create a non-alerting category if Waze wants them represented on the map.

Yes, they should be a separate icon/alert, not a "Still there?" yes/no. They are not mobile.
