Customize default zoom level especially text and map labels
I am using Waze on an Android tablet, and I find it very difficult to read the standard navigation view while driving. The default font sizes for street names and next turns are too small to read at a distance on a tablet screen, and the automatic zoom level scales too far out, making the map layout look shrunk.
To improve accessibility for tablet and large-screen users, I would like to propose adding the following customization options in the Map Display settings:
Adjustable Text Size: A dedicated in-app slider to independently increase or decrease the font size of all text overlays on the map (such as street labels, navigation banners, and distances).
Custom Baseline Zoom: The ability to adjust the default scaling to a user's preference, allowing the map to remain closer and highly visible at higher driving speeds without having to turn auto-zoom completely off.
These layout changes would greatly improve readability and safety, ensuring drivers do not have to strain their eyes or glance away from the road for too long.
