Add a dedicated “Milled Asphalt Road” hazard report.
This refers specifically to a road where the upper layer of asphalt has been removed in preparation for resurfacing.
Waze currently has no dedicated report for this condition. “Construction” is not accurate enough, since the milled surface may remain exposed even when no roadwork is actively taking place.
A milled asphalt surface can significantly affect grip, steering and stability, especially for motorcycles and vehicles traveling at high speeds. Drivers and riders should receive a clear warning to slow down and proceed with caution.
