Feature Request: Smarter AI-Driven Routing, Predictive Destinations, and Calendar Integration

Hi Waze Team,

I am a loyal, daily user of Waze, and I wanted to share some feature requests and product feedback aimed at making the app significantly smarter by leveraging personal behavioral patterns and calendar integration.

Currently, the app relies too much on rigid routines rather than actual context. Here are a few key improvements that would make Waze feel much more intuitive:
1. Context-Aware Work Commutes (Schedule Recognition)

The Problem:** Whenever I jump in my vehicle on the weekends, Waze automatically prompts me with a route to work.
The Solution:** The app should recognize actual life patterns and schedules. I only work Monday through Thursday, and I leave at 1:45 PM on those days. Waze should only offer the route to work during those specific days and time windows, keeping weekend navigation clean.

1. Learned Preferred Routes & Intelligent Detours

The Problem:** Every single day, I take a specific route to work that is not the route Waze typically recommends. I choose this route intentionally, but Waze doesn't seem to learn from my repeated behavior.

The Solution:** Waze should recognize user-preferred routes over time. If a user consistently overrides the app's default suggestion for the same trip day after day, Waze should adopt that as the primary route. Furthermore, if there is a delay or hazard on that specific preferred route, it should intelligently suggest an alternate route relative to my usual path.

1. Predictive Weekend Destinations

The Problem:** Weekend travel is treated as a blank slate, offering no smart shortcuts to frequent stops.
The Solution:** Just as it predicts weekday commutes, Waze should analyze weekend driving patterns to recognize recurring stops (e.g., local home improvement stores like Lowe's or Home Depot, or general retail like Walmart). When connecting to the vehicle on a weekend, it should offer a short list of likely destinations based on the day and time.

1. Calendar Integration for Appointments

The Problem:** Waze doesn't proactively know about off-site appointments unless manually searched and programmed.
The Solution:** Allow Waze to securely link with mobile calendars (such as Google Calendar). If I have an upcoming appointment—such as at the VA Medical Center—Waze should calculate the necessary travel time, pop up a notification when it's time to leave, and automatically load the directions the moment I hook up to the vehicle's audio or CarPlay/Android Auto.

Ultimately, the goal is a customized, AI-driven navigation experience that truly understands a user's weekly rhythm, preferences, and schedule to provide the right directions at the exact right moment with zero manual searching.
