please add motorcycle safe routes
It would be easier on us motorcyclist to know which routes are safer for motorcycles, scooters and mopeds.
Great thinking! The issue you raised has been addressed in a recent redesign. Hope you like it!

Here in the Philippines, there's one municipality (Mandaluyong) that apprehends motorcycle riders if their pillion or backride is a male. Motorcycle Taxi companies have already started operating in Metro Manila however there are no map apps that can actually be used by motorcycle taxi riders that will automatically (or give option) to avoid street roads in Mandaluyong. Everyday there are motorcycle riders that are being apprehended in Mandaluyong City if an enforcer sees them having a male backride.
Suggestion: Try to update your WazePH mapping service that will ask or give option to motorcycle riders to avoid Mandaluyong streets. If you can have the your map integrated with motorcycle taxi platforms to auto detect all male clients, they may be able to work on to automatically adjust fare value depending on the rerouting of the map. I am sure that all motorcycle taxi companies and motorcycle riders will like it.

I use waze for both Car and Motorcycle navigation, and make use of the motorcycle profile. As I'm currently only on a provisional bike licence I have to avoid motorways, but don't in the car.
It would be useful if the routing options (like avoid motorways) were saved per profile (car, motorbike etc).

Dear Waze, I love your product. As a motorcycle rider the community alerts for items on the road, potholes, and law enforcement, is wonderful. And you routing always gets me where I need to go as quickly as possible. HOWEVER, on the motorcycle I was the curviest route sometimes, and Kurviger.de has the answer to that. I paid $10 for Kurvig, I would pay 20 to have waze get me to where I want to go on the curviest rout.

I was driving a car in a hurry to an airport, so I choose to follow waze's direction through smaller roads only to find that the road ends to a narrow alley that only motorcycle can pass. Thank God I could still turn back the car and got just in time to the airport, otherwise all my vacation will be ruined. Take note, waze..

edit : The main motivation for my request is that recently I had a crash with a car making a U turn on the street. The road is very dangerous at day and night (for different reasons), there is a bad mood in this area, it's not well frequented.
I know my request is minor, it's a very specific use, but weak signals are important for user experience satisfaction. I think it's really the next step to improve safety on road.
Waze was developped on avoiding stress and improving situation awareness and anticipation by sharing local users knowledge. But these are not the only aspects for accidentology. Each of us has an emotion while doing something depending on the context : Driving is not just driving. It depends on where, when and how you feel. And while we can't focus on monitoring these emotions, letting people tell them (with a yes or no box, as simple as that) is a good start.
Data analysis will manadge the traffic in order to arrange everyone, depengin on traffic (of course), type of vehicule and emotions.
This is a new variable

Let the driver indicate which road / street he doesn't want to take anymore.
Some roads are just inappropriate for motorcycles, but Waze doesn't make the difference.
Let's just tell to Waze "I don't want to come back here, and drive that street/road, unless I really have no other choice", for whatever reason

Many roads in cities and towns are narrow enough to navigate on two wheelers. But these roads are not wide enough for 4 wheelers to pass by.
These roads can not be ignored on the map because they are used often used by cyclists and motor cycles.
Waze will guide the users into these roads, because these exist.
There should be a way to categorize such roads and select the type of vehicle we drive for navigation.
