The google maps traffic overlay shows green, yellow, red or black on all monitored roads, depending on zoom level. It updates correctly. Waze sometimes shows orange, red or black on a few roads in the area, but there doesn't seem to be any way to see whether the lack of traffic problems is due to the map not having updated yet. It frequently directs me into a problem and then shows the problem just as I arrive. I'd like to be able to choose to use the google map, so that I can see whether it works better.

This is mainly for seeing traffic problems in the wider area, not just on the daft routes (10 miles longer than necessary in a 50 mile journey) that Waze offers - I usually drive the route that I have been using every week for many years, but Waze never offers that route, and doesn't show why it is rejecting that route.

How is this not a thing? Importing from one map app to another owned by the same company...Please make this a priority.

If google shows it but Waze does not, it must be a problem with Waze managers not setting the info properly.

I'd like to be able to choose the Google Map with Traffic overlay, as an alternative to the Waze map.

There used to be lots of Waze maps to choose from - I don't need that, but I do need the Google map as an option. Waze often doesn't show a traffic problem that Google knows about.

Really really want this feature! A killer feature.... or which would be as good to me is when clicking directions in maps, give chice to navigate using waze.

Google Maps and Waze and both really great navigation apps. You should make a new app that is Google Maps and Waze combined. It could be called Google Waze.

I agree 100%, instead of going to your Google My Places, copy and paste, and then paste it to Waze. If we can sync it would save so much time

I like to use google map to discuss with my family on our trip, using sharing feature that everybody add in the point of interests. Then when we go on trip, we need the places to be imported into waze! Now i cant. Very troublesome..

There should be an option to import favorites from Google maps. This is keeping me from using Waze.
