Waze import bookmarks from Google Maps

As awesome as Waze map overlays are, it would be nice to have the option to see Google Maps map (which I believe are easiest to read). Also, I want to see the Google Maps traffic data which is shockingly more accurate than the random streaks of red and orange reported by select Wazers. I reference the map frequently when determining best routes.

It's true, after being bought by Google in 2013, although Google has been relatively un-invasive and letting them do their own thing, it would be mutually beneficial and lucrative to merge the programs and APIs

Use Google Maps for route planning, export to KML file and import KML file into Waze.

it would be great to be able to sync the places already stored in google's my places. So you don´t have to search for them separately and have them at hand even quicker.
more advanced: sharing your places with friends or family members across devices would be great.
finally: being able to save places on the webinterface and syncing to user devices would be nice
waze rocks - keep up the good work!

Hi. Currently when you search for a destination and try to navigate to it, it seems to use Waze's maps, which seem to be primarily USA-based. So for example I searched for Boksburg, ZA, and it came up with Bossburg, USA. Surely if Waze knows where I am based on my GPS location, it should search destinations nearer to me? I found that the only way I could get directions to Boksburg, ZA was to switch to google maps. Now, Google maps are more thorough and more widely maintained by a larger community. So it really, to my mind, makes no sense at all to use anything other than google maps. Please make this the default, or at least let users select the default map provider in the preferences. (Oh and show the map fullscreen, not this little postage stamp in the middle).

It will be great if we are able to overlay the Google image data as background for the map.
