Ability to select the types of hazards to enable/disable
Sometimes, certain hazards are not very helpful and are more of a distraction than anything. For example, vehicles stopped on the shoulder, weather, and missing sign are not very important and I dismiss them every time I see it. At times I feel like disabling hazards altogether.
Great news! The ability to disable individual alert notifications is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

This option already exists, check Settings... then go into "Display & map", then push "Alerts on route" and deselect the ones you don't want to hear anymore.
So don't vote for this, it's already in.

I hate the watch out, vehicle on the side of the road. And at times it is hard to see an address, it needs to say what side of the road your destination is on. I also wish we could have more options on voices also. I loved the C3PO, that was cool for 3 days.

Why doesn't the Red light camera audio sound alert work on waze anymore? It always warned me when approaching a Red light light camera then it suddenly stopped.

If it can be added to the settings, it'll be great. Since it should be a custom audio mode. For example, I don't want to hear "hazard ahead", which people tend to report all the time.
Another option is to divide such alerts with priority. For example car which is stuck in the middle of the road is not the same as the alert about a car which is on the side of the road... (currently, no way to separate) -

Shortly in English:
1. in the audio mode: "Alerts only" - let the user define which alerts to hear.
2. Separate "Hazard alert" into 2 categories: (1) inside the road. (2) near the road. (Because in the audio mode "Alerts only", I would like to hear only critical alerts).
3. The alert "Traffic ahead" should be hear at least 5 seconds before the traffic. Otherwise it miss the point, I can see the traffic by myself... -

Please add the ability to remove the red light camera alerts. They are extremely annoying and redundant when you travel the same route every day.

Those alerts are so annoying, I stopped using the app over a year ago. I periodically check to see they've added the ability to disable selected alerts. Until they do, I won't use the app again.

It seams to be so easy to include a able/disable buttom to red light cameras considering Waze complexity...
I don't know why they still don't do it...
The red light camera notifications cover a large part of the screen everytime, disrupting follow of map route. -

I would really like to be able to turn this alert off, without turning all alerts off. I pass 5 or 6 red light cameras during my 30 minute commute, which means that the book I'm listening to is interrupted 5 or 6 times to tell me I should stop at the light if it's red. Since I stop at red lights anyway, I detest this alert. Why can't I turn it off, like police, accident, hazard.....? Thanks

For example, I would like to mute most alerts when on the phone, but still get certain ones like traffic jam, object on road, and police.

Add the ability to ignore and/or silence certain warning types posted by certain users or temporarily silence warnings. One night while driving home my podcast kept getting interrupted every 30-60 seconds with pothole hazard warnings even though there were no potholes, because apparently some idiots think that the slightest bump in the road is a "pothole" worthy of reporting (and they're probably trying to rack up points).

Only thing is I would strongly suggest each alert type be able to be toggled. What would be really great is to be able to set up profiles that can be quickly switched, so you could set one up to only do what you deem are critical alerts and one that will alert for everything (or almost everything), and switch based on where you are.

Yeah, 99% of the time, this is a worthless bit of information that only seems to benefit those new wazers that want a means to get their points total up. I only use it if the vehicle is stopped very close to the roadway (small shoulder).

completely agree with this. car on side of road is annoying and useless. there is one every 100 feet on NY highways.

On long drives the "vehicle on the side of the road" becomes annoying and has no real value compared to police, roadkill and hazard in road warnings. Wish I could turn it off and leave the others.
