Launch Waze automatically when driving
It's rather annoying for me having to remember to launch the Waze app every time I start driving somewhere. Would it be possible for the app to detect that you are driving and launch automatically? Preferably with as little battery drain as possible.

I prefer to use other app(s) for this.
eg I use Sound Profile and with one button on home screen, turn off WiFi, turn on Bluetooth (in case if got turned off), alter volumes and screen birghtness, and of course, open Waze app
I find having lots of different apps that "auto" change my phone settings un helpful as I lose control of what is happening/set
and of course connecting to Android Auto starts Waze anyway as I have it set as default. -

it should launch when phone automatically connects to a selected bluetooth devie ie your car stereo like the app "car home ultra"

This would be nice. I have Miliage apps that detect driving as well as Life360.

Another autostart option would to autostart (and stop) based upon the bluetooth connection with my car. It's a great feature with competitor apps (I'd rather not use).

I install a tablet in my car just to run Waze, and that will help Waze in traffic -

Give a setting options that allows you to let waze detect gps motion at x speed or traveled distance and will auto-start app if not on. You can go to settings and turn on or off feature. This way app will automatically run when you are driving.

I would like to see an auto launch feature that upon gps change (like speed or distance) the app could launch on its own. Instead of me having to launch it when I get in my vehicle every time. This would really help the O crap I forgot to open waze and I have already driven 20 miles.

For example, when you use Waze daily, you do exactly the same ride depending the time of the day. Early morning, you launch Waze to have traffic to go to work and in the evening, you launch Waze to go back home, this DAILY.
So, it can be usefull to schedule the auto start of navigation on the a location when you launch Waze during a specific period of the day.
Ex : launch Waze from 8am to 9am, Monday to Friday -> start navigation to work location automatically without doing anything else on the application. just launching the app...
