Enable audio alert for speed cams regardless of the speed.

Waze currently only triggers audio alerts about speed cams when the driver is above the speed limit of the specific cam.

Since the speed detection on Waze is very flawed (at least here in Brazil/Rio de Janeiro), and not all cams have their speed limit properly set, it would be MUCH better if Waze triggered it's audible alert for speed cams independently of the fact that the driver may be above or below the limit of the cam.

    That may be considered a form of radar detector in some states that may be illegal

    +1 also for me it seems very important to have a sound before radar instead looking on the phone

    Cars on the shoulder of the road don't warrant an audible alarm in my opinion, but others might want to hear them. Having a toggle for each type of hazard enabling or disabling audio alerts would allow us to customize the app as we like.

    If you ever really do that please give it a turn off option, I find this option on GPS's extremely irritating.

    +1 for that feature, even though I'm not stepping on it when approaching the radar doesn't meander I don't want to know it's there. Make it a configurable option and you can choose for yourself if you want it or not.

    I would like to be able to configure alerts... i.e.change audible alert notification (beep, tone, etc.), and set which specific hazard types generate audible alerts

    Like other road items, let us choose to turn off red light cameras. On stretches of road with many that are traveled frequently, they become spam popups. Too much.

    When we are coming to Speed Alerts, the App shows a Note, that's ok!
    But... The note would show the default speed ;)

    I would like to have an audio camera alert whenever near a fixed camera site not just when approaching at excessive speed. It's too much of a distraction to have to look at the screen so often.

    I would use this more often , if the speed camera alert gave a audio warning, and also displayed speed limit.

    Please add the following option: even when I drive below speed limit, I want to be able to have a sound alert that there is a speed trap ahead!

    This would buy me a lot of peace of mind as I drive with the flow, not checking my speed or waze for upcoming speed traps.
    In France, the Coyote app has this and it is crucial... Though waze is better on all other counts.

    I would also like to see an enhanced audio alert for police, as well as some of the other suggestions about both lanes and moving. May I suggest that the alert activate quite a distance from the point than it currently does. I get a voice alert now that is way too close to the point to avoid discovery. Mind you, by alerting, Waze keeps the roads safer.
