Police on the move and what side
Police on the move: I would put an option on the police spotter that shows moving/same side or moving/other side of the road. The app can see what direction/side the motorist is on, it would be a simple change to show that the police are moving on your side or other.

When identifying a police car, the options are hidden or visible. Add the option "moving". Similarly, a road hazard like a truck dropping debris or spewing a lot of smoke can also be identified as moving.

Planes routinely patrol highways and there's no way to detect them other than by sight. You can see them overtly on clear days, or a mass of patrol cars signaling people off the road. It would need to leave a 1 mile warning behind the line of sight since they usually gauge within that zone.

Have an option for police passing you or moving with traffic

This is needed both to more accurately identify where they are and to avoid false positives. People report police when they see them driving, which leads to false positives. This is the best suggestion for this I've seen, as it gives a good recommendation for how to actually do this. It's basically the same thing I came up with, to continually update it based on estimation of their location based on the speed limit and on new reports, until a certain amount of time elapses with no new reports. Biggest problem would be accounting for where the police are in relation to the second (and third, and so on) driver when they like the report, not to mention the initial reporting driver.
As for tips, neat idea, but I wonder if it would just add more complexity for something few people would actually use. I honestly doubt I would tip anyone, as my payment is all the things I report to warn other drivers. We all help each other, and our payment is everyone else helping us.

There should be an option to report police driving along the route, not just stopped and visible/hidden. Sometimes you're on a highway and there is a police driving along the route and this could warn drivers ahead if they see the police coming toward them.

have a button for police that are moving, driving ahead of the driver. when police drives by me, click the button to alert up ahead. have the police icon move on the road for maybe 1 - 5 miles...

Allow Wazers the option to select if the police vehicle is "stationary" or "cruising."
Stationary: Means that the police vehicle is on side of the road or highway observing cars as they pass.
Cruising: Means that the police vehicle is on the road and driving with traffic.
For example if I seee a "Police - Cruising" notification on the navigation, I can expect that the officer is likely no longer in that exact location, but instead further along ahead of me because they are driving with traffic.
But if I see a "Police - Stationary" notification I can expect that the police vehicle is in fact still in that location.

Add the feature that the police is driving in this direction and not just parked beside the road sometimes the police are a little bit ahead or a little bit behind driving or sometimes you passed them driving in the opposite direction the police report as is appears that they just parked beside the road

In 4.5.0.1, in english, when you wanna report police you can do it :visible, hidden or other side, but in romanian you can report: Filtru (filter), Radar fix/mobil (fix/mobile Radar) or other side. The problems are: The fix radar is ilegal, and a police filter is hard to see in our streets. Insteed we have a lot of policemen in the intersections making good job and directing the traffic. SO, would be better that we could report: 1.radar or filter, 2.guided intersection(or something like this) and 3.other side ( or something else). Thank you.

Need to create the ability to report police on driving road. Not just police and have it stick to a stationary spot. Create an algorithm that takes into account users current speed and have a police icon travel on map. Have it disappear if 5minutes goes by and no other Wazer verifies.

the alerts give too little time for drivers to check their speed when laser style speed cameras in us. ie you may have been zapped before the alert. increase the alert distance to 2 minutes

I agree I would like it to say "Traveling w/ Traffic"
or show a Police car icon with the front facing forward on the display !! -
