Unfortunately in some countries we face the reality of violence and sometimes the fastest route is not safe. So, my proposal is that we could have a "Street blacklist" in order to be able to add streets that we don't want to be in the route, preventing us to check all the route and try to find a new route every time or in a situation when we want a new route fast and during the route we notice that the navigation is going in the way that we don't want.

I have a very rough road that Waze wants me to take about 1/2 the time. I would love to be able to tell it not to ever route that way.
I need this. My commute requires I take a toll road (cheap with no free alternative) if I want to get there easily. But there are nearby express roads that have free alternatives. Waze will route me on the express lanes--which can charge $15 or more for a couple miles of traffic-free drive--rather than through some congestion or around it on side streets.
Great idea! I would also propose a whitelist where you can add roads that have restrictions, in case you are permitted to drive there.
Wonderful idea. It could be on a route/user basis. Similar as road works are reported, being able to select streets I don't want to drive through for safety reasons, just one time or permanently.
