Please change required access info period your app does not need personal contacts and other personal info to function all you need is location and phone number to send text messages and alerts

Currently, Waze will not run on IOS unless the user grants it access to contacts. Waze should not need to access contacts unless the user wishes to share info with a contact or navigate using their addresses. Provide users who do not use those features the ability to run Waze without providing contacts access.

I tried to log in to my new iPhone and found that waze now requires you to give the access to all your contacts. Bite me Waze and Google. I'm done with you. Moving on to maps which does the same thing!

Please reverse the new requirement that personal contact lists be shared with Waze in order to register/sign in to an account.

I respect the privacy of my friends, and will never link Waze (which) I otherwise love) to my contacts, FB, or Twitter. Yet, half the times I glance at my phone to get route information which I need RIGHT NOW, I have to first flick aside a screen where the app is nagging me for access. This is both an annoyance, and a safety issue. Please add 'Never ask me again' checkboxes, and honor them.

Is there a separate location to see Waze's responses? I've seen several topics that would seem deserving of a response. On this, Waze requiring access to all contacts us worrisome for some, beyond the conspiracy however is indeed the PAIN of having multiplying "blank" contacts for waze. I'll not continue with Waze when replacing my phone.

I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hit the mark as inappropriate button! There's no way to fix it! Ugh... I'm so sorry. I actually AGREE with this suggestion! It's a pain to have three or four waze contacts added to each of my existing contacts.
And add a way to"un-flag" a report if you hit the button by mistake! Lol!

What is the fix for waze duplicating random contacts 20 to 30 times!!!!

Get rid of requirement to access contacts. Sophomoric.

My phone is plagued with hundreds of contacts created by Waze that cannot be deleted or edited. So when I search for my mom in Contacts on my phone, she has mulitple Waze contacts that keep showing up. It really clutters my Contacts.

After 4 years using Waze I have not seen the behaviour you describe. Are you sure it is about Waze? It could be another app you may have installed.

Don't demand access to my contacts. Don't want/need Wayz to enable this feature for me to use it.

Add the ability to opt out of you accessing my contact info. Love your app but have uninstalled because you do not need to see my address book.
