"display off" mode
I'm driving a motorbike and I'm generally wazing to update map and / or inform the other wazers about the traffic on the road. So, my phone is in my pocket... It would be great if Waze could do that with the display of my phone off...

Great news! Waze works with screen off. Set a route, block your phone, and you’re good to go with voice directions.

I wish you could make settings or mode like "pocket mode". This will be useful to riders like me who prefer to place device in pocket while riding my bike. The mode will run the app and still dictate directions. It will save a lot of battery. When i drive my car, i may sometimes use this feature as i have been relying more on the sound and seldom do i look at the screen. Plus it will support our safety driving tip "eyes on the road, not on your device".

This functions works on Android phone. On My LG GT540 first I start Waze and then I use red phone button to display off.
