Place an option to have your vehicle as an Ambulance so you can have size height and weight correct to vehicle so can navigate better and quicker to emergencys ensuring we can give best care quick

Be able to chouse the option Ambulans at the car tipe, which when active is ignoring from traffic lines and one way streats and traffic directors and stuff like this.

I suggest that special vehicles (ambulance or firefighters) should reveal position to Waze during mission, so Waze can warn users driving nearby or on the same road.

How to Help Emergency Vehicles To Reach Their Destination Faster
Waze should have a new mode of operation for priority vehicles (buses, taxis, ambulances, firefighters, police...), because only these vehicles are authorized to travel on priority lanes.
A special Emergency Sub-mode should be added for rescue and police vehicles. These vehicles have authorization, in case of emergency, to activate their warning lights and horns, to drive on contraflow lanes, on sidewalks...
Emergency vehicle drivers shall be able to enter this sub-mode after a secure identification and certified authorization mechanism
On the Waze screen of all the drivers in the vicinity, add a flashing mark of the emergency vehicle location and the direction of its progression. In case of collision hazard, activate an audio alert. This will allow the drivers to clear the way to the emergency vehicles.
On priority lanes, the central computer could recommend the public transport vehicles drivers (including trolley drivers) either to stay in their station or to reach a station or parking place and leave place for the emergency vehicle to move forwards.
When two (or more) emergency vehicles reach the same road junction on a collision course, the central controller should inform all the relevant emergency car drivers about the situation and set priorities for crossing the intersection, and when possible, define priorities.

Please provide the opportunity for waze users to request emergency services if needed. Obviously, a special edition of Emergency Software (Emergency Vehicle Drivers) should be created.

I agree. Enable me to use WAZE on my MDC for mapping and also link it to my unitrol so that when I am responding (Police, Fire, Ambulance) with lights and sirens active I automatically show up on every Wazer's map so they know I am coming and can move to the right.

je m'explique je suis pompier et j'utilise souvent Waze quand nous parton sur un secteur extérieur. Les service d'urgence sont autoriser en France à utiliser voie de bus tram voir même prendre en sens interdit les rue dans le cas ou le lieux de l’intervention ce déroule en début de rue et risque de nous faire perdre du temps en faisant le tours complet.
Donc serait-il possible d'ajouter cette option comme le passage en mode taxi avec si possible un véhicule pompier SAMU ou police au chois ;)

Ambulabces are quite huge on some points.
Sometimes ambulances are 17 feet long, 7 feet width and 10 feet high.
We can't use small roads, and some tunels. Also, we run fast, really fast. So we add some false data in the system. In the same times, avoiding tickets is important because of papers (During a speed limit automatc control, we need to provide a lot of documentation).
Also, since we're running fast, the screen doesn't follow very very well the map.
Here in Europe we have a lot of little streets.
And I think that if a user can add his car's dimensions it would help a lot, and will avoid buying really expensive specific GPS.

Including an option Police in navigation menu > Car Type.

When set to this option, waze will give the shortest way and ignore all restrictions like conversions and u turns

Les ambulanciers utilise beaucoup Waze, l'option les routes en pavée est super mais pourriez vous le rajouter au meme Titre que taxis parce-ce-que il serai directement indiquée sur la carte pour les autres internautes et ils peuvent en cas de nécessité aller dans les voies de taxi.

I do not understand why this has not received more votes. For example, I live in Costa Rica and roads here are filled with traffic all day. If there was a "911 Waze" extension of the app, emergency vehicles could use this. Waze would then give them the quickest route to the emergency while alerting all Wazers on the emergency vehicle's route that the a E-vehicle is X amount of minutes behind you to please be prepared to give room. Something along those lines.

Add an ambulance icon to the Select your car, right now i use the Taxi icon which is funny and ironic but an ambulance would be way cooler. I often use Waze when i am navigating for an inter-facility transport my phone is easier to see then our tiny unreliable GPS mounted under our mirror. Also keep up the good work guys!
PS: the firefighters might like a firetruck so that would be a cool addition too.
