Voice Hazard Reporting
This would be extremely helpful to be able to say what a hazard is instead of having to touch the screen while driving which causes you to look away from driving.

Customise number of turn notofications
I don't like to be reminded 3 times that I need to turn (400m, 200m, at the turn), it would be great if I could choose which distances I get reminded at, e.g., turn off the 400m and at the turn notifications if the 200m one if enough for me.

Rowan Atkinson as "Blackadder"
Blackadder, from the British sitcom of the same name, has a cutting and sarcastic wit which would be ideal for a sat-nav voice.

Custom distance alert selection
I'd like to request a feature that lets users customize which distance-based voice alerts play during navigation.
Currently, Waze announces upcoming turns at multiple fixed intervals (e.g., 0.6 miles, 0.5 miles, 0.25 miles, 0.1 miles, and "now"). For drivers who don't need that many reminders, this can feel repetitive and add unnecessary noise to the drive.
It would be great to have the option to select only the specific alert distances we want — for example, just a half-mile warning and a tenth-of-a-mile warning, plus the final turn alert — rather than being locked into all the preset intervals.

Allow multiple custom voice recordings per command (randomized playback)
Please allow users to upload or record multiple audio variants for each command, and let Waze randomly choose one during navigation.
This would make custom voices far more natural, fun, and less predictable.
Even a simple “playlist” of recordings per command would greatly improve the feature.Thank you for considering this enhancement.

Ray Stantz
Guys, I love you, the app is great! But please, bring back Ray Stantz!! He is a national treasure and I need his whimsy on my drives.
Ray's topics on mood slime, the Loch Ness Monster, and reaction rate coefficient are critically important to the masses. Please, please bring back Ray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd pay to have him back full time!!!3 votes -
Homer Simpson
I have voted for the request for Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin to be used as voices, posted under ‘Navigation’. Despite it being a request made during 2019, it is a pity that nothing seems to have been done about it. Of course, not withstanding what seems to be an automated response regarding it being added to the “user requests” list.
What is the protocol regarding these things? Would anyone that is authorised to elucidate us please consider explaining?
Seriously… who doesn’t want to hear from Homer, every time we miss a turn, or not follow his directions, a “D’oh!”?…

Waze needs to add a feature to read warnings every time there is a change in speed limit on the route.
Suggest Waze needs to add a feature to read warnings every time there is a change in speed limit on the route. (currently: waze does not read or very rarely reads warnings when there is a change in speed limit)

Please add Cortana voice directions!!
It would fantastic adding Cortana directions: “I’m detecting a large number of Covenant forces moving towards your position..., take left”
“That’s it, Chief, keep going!”... "5 minutes to extraction point, Chief".3 votes
