Audible Alert for Fixed Speed Cameras
Every Sat Nav device that I have ever owned HAS an audible (sound) alert to speed cameras. This is because most drivers keep their eyes on the road most of the time, not on their Sat Nav. I have done some basic programming in the past and know that adding a PING (sound) to something that happens in a software program is the EASIEST thing that a developer could possibly do. Fix custom recorded voices not working on Android
Can I suggest fixing custom recorded voices. Recently all my custom voice packs have not been working and defaulting to the normal ones in the app.

Verbally Say Speed Limit on Road
Waze needs to say what the speed limit is on the road verbally. It is dangerous to look down at the phone screen for the speed limit when it is not posted on the road, and you have no idea what it is, especially for those who have difficulty reading small print.

Voice options for each phrase
Voice options is a nice feature. But to make it really great it must stop being boring and embarrasing by repeating same phrases every time (especially on fun voices, like Terminator or Zombie).
- Add several possible options for each phrase to make it less boring.
- Never repeat same joke twice in row.
- Only play jokes when time allows, e.g. 1,5 km remaining - a nice oportunity to crank one.
So just allow recording clear directions and jokes separately and mix them programmatically when makes sense.7 votes -

Create a Drill Sergeant voice that says something like… hey knucklehead you missed the turn, you failed your mission or what’s wrong moron, can you follow simple directions?

What have you done with Kate? For a while, a second voice occasionally interrupted her flow; a wee while later, a second voice joined the annoying interruptions. Now, Waze claims to have fixed the issue – but that is that Kate’s voice is now completely different: deeper in tone, accented, drops Ts, and is really grating. I have tried the other two female voices, and don’t like either of them…which is why I chose Kate! Why has Waze limited the UK options to just three? Add Old Penelope voice as an option for Spanish. The new voice is soulless. I miss Penelope voice.
Give me back Penelopes’s old voice. New Penelope’s voice is boring and soulless. If new voice were of a real person, I’d say that this person is lazy and listless.

Recommend a voice option with just 1 hazard button. Hit 1 button, WAZE asks what the hazard is, you say “pothole” etc
Have the option in settings to do voice notifications. Then there will be just one button to hit on the screen. Waze asks what the hazard is and we say, “pothole”, “object on road”, ‘Police” etc. This will make for a much safer journey.
