Move alert notification placement on CarPlay to avoid missing exit
When I receive an alert (I notice it most often when there’s a stopped car on side of road) on the Waze UI via CarPlay, the notification overlays on top of the upcoming exit/turn. In order to not miss my turn/exit, I’m forced to tap There/Not there just so I can get it out of the way. Not only is that frustrating for the driver but it’s also giving the app bad data.

I cannot use waze with the new alert display
The new alerts are interfering with my next turn !! I live in a large city with high traffic and LOTS of alerts. This means I have upcoming turns that happen quickly and all day today the alerts come up and suddenly my next turn was completely gone! Im going to have to switch to another app unless there is something done quick. Your can’t expect people to drive in a city and not see their next turn because alerts come up constantly in the city!

Carplay co-pilot chat
Make available the functions "report" and "chat" while on CarPlay mode, all this functions are unavailable on the phone for a Co-pilot and Needs to disconnect for use it

12" portrait screen for largeur cars, actually 1/2 screen on my RAM 1500
Maybe not the first, like other big car screen, why should waze don't fill the full screen of the portrait 12" screen like RAM 1500 ot other?

Map pinning on iPhone while using CarPlay
Hello Waze team! Please make it available to see/pin routes on iPhone while using CarPlay with Waze together. Im living in the place where I dont know names of streets(and im new to driving) and can only find the spot by using map. I always have to stop somewhere, disconnect my phone from carplay, find and pin the area, then connect back. Its very painful job, especially when traffic is full and there is no place to park. Whenever I start using waze with car play, I dont have an access to map on screen of my phone, cant just…

UX change to notifications display on CarPlay
Can the notifications that display for warnings such as roadworks, pot holes, etc., be changed to show square buttons next to eachother rather than long thin buttons above one another, as they are quite hard to press with your left hand (UK driver). Making the buttons square would be soooooo much easier to press and less error prone to fat fingers :)

CarPlay UI Improvements
1st Make the Confirmation / Not there road notification buttons to be in opposite screen location and not right on top of the other to avoid “fat fingers” (common on bumpy roads with touchscreen interfaces).
2nd Add route selection information to include if journey has tolls or not, similar to smartphone version

Speed wrong
Speed shows 335 km/h while carplay is connected and the car is at 80km/h. If I disconnected carplay the speed in my phone is perfect.

CarPlay Waze mode
Waze in my CarPlay switches from day to night mode according the car lights (for example in tunnels or under the bridge) despite fact that application is set for switching during night only.

Exit name size Apple car play
In apple car play if the exit name is too long waze removes the ETA and remaining distance to make room for the exit name. Which is nice but sometime the exit may be 10km away and not having the eta for 10km is not great. Maybe keeping the eta but smaller could be an alternative. Or using a smaller font for the exit name.

Waze está teniendo graves problemas con Apple CarPlay
Se bloquea CarPlay frecuentemente con Waze. Cuando se conecta mi IPhone a mi auto, nunca muestra correctamente el mapa, siempre debo cerrar Waze y reiniciarlo para que funcione.

A Car Play issue in 5.27 version
After last update (5.27) doesn’t responde any buttons onscreen (alerts, search, home/work). A touch screen itself works (I can pan & zoom) but the buttons doesn’t. And the issue from the previous updates – in Car Play Waze always starts in light mode in the main screen even when all the system and other apps in the dark mode.

NEW UI BUG-ETA BOX HIDES YOUR LOCATION:CarPlay arrival-time panel obscures current vehicle position; next direction obscures route of travel
NEW UI ISSUE: When navigating with Waze through Apple CarPlay, the panel displaying arrival time, remaining travel time, and mileage is now too wide overlaps the vehicle/current-position icon. This obscures my location on the map and makes it impossible to see the road immediately around the vehicle. Similarly the next turn direction box also covers the navigation path of travel, obscuring map navigation route. THE APP HAS BECOME IMPOSSIBLE TO USE.

IOS 27 CarPlay alternative route screen is dangerous
Title: iOS 27 / Apple CarPlay – Alternative routes display has become unsafe and impractical
Since updating to iOS 27, the display of alternative routes in Waze on Apple CarPlay has significantly deteriorated.
Previously, alternative routes were displayed together in a clear, easily readable list. It was possible to compare the different options at a glance.
With the new interface:
- The list is displayed in a much smaller window.
- Only part of the available alternative routes is visible at any one time.
- Users have to scroll manually through the list to see the other options.

Affichage des options d’itinéraire
Depuis la dernière mise à jour, l’affichage des options d’itinéraire s’affiche sur un tout petit encart sur l’écran de l’Apple CarPlay.
Il faut faire défiler les différents options d’itinéraire sur un tout petit carré alors qu’avant, les options s’affichaient de manière très visible sur un seul même encart.
Nous n’avions pas besoin de faire défiler les trois ou quatre options d’itinéraires.
Il y a sans doute un problème de compatibilité avec l’application CarPlay.
Je constate cela sur un grand écran, tactile d’un Renault Scénic électrique qui dispose d’un grand écran.
