Half-screen display on Android Auto
Is itbpossible to optimise the half-screen display on Android Auto to show the key direction information? At the moment the road names trail off if they're too long while there are things like the exit numbers that are in green aesthetic boxes taking up a lot of unnecessary space.
Would be nice to also have the pop-up notification shortcuts to "Home" or "Work" or a chosed Saved Place like Google Maps so I can start on my journey more effectively.

automatic Day night mode
On previous version was working perfectly. On sunset the night mode was being changed normally. Now the night mode must be forced manually even the automatic mode is enable. I recommend only use the time instead the dim car function because the screen on dash doesn't have the capability to check if my headlights are on. Why something so easy the apps do it complicated?

move hazard alert button
The hazard alert icon is in the lower left corner of the screen on my android auto waze screen. This results in taking my eyes off the road to reach it across the dash. If it were relocated to the lower left corner of android auto screen it would facilitate easier and safer access.

Waze not working with Android Auto / Glaxy S23 since recent phone update
Waze no longer even shows up as an available app on Android Auto since a recent update to my Samsung Galaxy S23 (Android 14).

Fix user interface and make it look like how it does on apple car play or on android phones
So since roughly April when waze adapted to the new android auto split screen update also known as coolwalk waze has looked terrible and nothing like how it use to look or looks on android phones and apple carplay. It's just a bunch of black boxes and buttons. Being someone that uses waze more than more than 12+hrs a day. It would be nice. If you guys revert the current user interface to how it is on the phones and or how it looks on apple car play

Quick access icons.
Put additional icons on the available space on the left side of the screen (and top/bottom) for Police (visible, hidden, and other side). Also a Vehicle on shoulder, pothole, object on road, and roadkill would be extremely helpful.
It would make it much safer and you would get more accurate reporting if we don't have to navigate through choices when alerting other drivers.2 votes -

Modo oscuro
Anteriormente waze dejaba que el modo oscuro fuese automatico al encender las luces del coche ( por ejemplo al pasar por un tunel) ahora sólo existe la opción de activado, desactivado o al anochecer (a partir de las 21h). Google maps permite la opcion de elegir modo oscuro a través del estado del coche (luces encendidas o apagadas). Es una muy buena opción que hemos perdido.

Fix map pan function on Android Auto for rotary/joystick control
I drive a BMW i3. It uses a combination rotary control/joystick. Touchscreen is not available. I cannot pan the map when I select the panning function.

Search while connected to android auto
You have got to make it possible to voice search while driving. I use waze with my business and when I get a call I often have to change my destination or add a stop. I can't do that with waze without stopping. I legit added a manual power disconnect for my radio so I can turn my radio OFF which automatically disconnects android auto. Then I search in my phone, then I turn the radio back ON to get the new destination or stop in the waze app... Now how stupid and distracting is that? How is that safer?…

"Where To?" should disappear a minute or two after a drive starts
"Where To?" every. single. time. I start my car is insane. I don't need to plot my every move. I run to the store or go to work/home way more then I need directions. Waze is my default for traffic alerts and contributing to them when running around town. If no "Where To?" is chosen a couple of minutes after the drive starts, make it close automatically.

Waze has been destroyed in the last major update. I don't know where to begin. Please return to prior version.
I dont want to interact with the app in my car every time I drive. No pop up requests for recent drives; I can do that if I want. After that, I dont know where to begin: it is now glacially slow, menu pop ups and excess info on screen, constantly scrolling, every time i pick an option i need to wait for 30 seconds for something to occur. Etc etc etc. Go back to prior version or its format. This is an example of taking an excellent and optimal app and destroying it with "features" and "improvements." I dislike…

Android Auto version
I like the latest improvements to the Android Auto design...I have one suggestion for the setting menu for Android Auto namely have the ability to switch from km to miles...it's on the smartphone version but not Android Auto...it would be useful when crossing the border

New smaller monochromatic buttons in AA are harder to press.

AAOS (Polestar) fixes.
Waze on AAOS (Polestar)- when opening the app your list of last destinations pops up (which is fine) but it consumes half the screen and does not go away once you start moving. The only way to close it is via a tiny X that is both difficult and dangerous to touch in a moving car.
Also, integration with Plugsgare app is broken. When selecting a charger location in plugshare and opting for Waze as the preferred navigation, it opens Waze but does not populate the destination (so no routing)

Waze on Android Auto keeps freezing in the new updates.
Every time connected to Android Auto, it eventually will freeze, shut it down and relaunched only lasted few minutes and freezing again. This happened after the new updates.

Revert your latest upgrade
Why have you destroyed a working App with this pointless upgrade that has introduced numerous bugs 🤷🏼♀️
1) Cumbersome to now locate home/office as you need to hit the magnifying glass rather than the handy top left menu as on previous version.
2) Reporting hazards is now a hazard as the interface is slow and cumbersome
3) Previously saved addresses no longer work
4) The speed I am driving at is hit and miss as to whether it is displayed.
5)Big black boxes cover too much of the screen.
I have downgraded my Google App rating from 5 to 1…
