BMW i5 move screen buttons. Safety first!
I want all buttons in android auto screen to be placed on the left side for easier access (search, alternative roads and sound setting).
Alsoe the speed gauge and report button. Why have it in the right lower corner, so far away from the road as possible?!
The gauge for estimated time arrival could be in the upper screen edge instead.
The only thing i´m satisfied with are the driving direction in upper left corner.

HUD rally mode - display all turns ahead
Waze would display all upcoming curves and the distance to them on the car's head-up display. Driving would be safer in hilly terrain with poor visibility.

Speed camera icons disappear on Android Auto when Auto-Zoom zooms out above ~100 km/h
With Auto-Zoom enabled on Android Auto, the map zooms out as driving speed increases. Above roughly 100 km/h the speed camera icons stop being drawn on the map. At lower speeds, on the same roads and for the same cameras, they are displayed normally, and they reappear as soon as the map zooms back in.
This is inverted relative to the purpose of the feature. The camera marker matters most on open highways at 100-140 km/h, where reaction time is short, and least in slow urban traffic, which is exactly where it currently still works. I drive mainly in the…

Keep Alternative Routes accessible during alerts
On Android Auto, the Alternative Routes button disappears when an alert is displayed, requiring me to close the alert first.
On CarPlay, the button remains accessible.
Please make Android Auto behave like CarPlay. This removes an unnecessary interaction and reduces driver distraction.

Android Auto on non-touch navi
Using non-touch navigation on my 2023 Mazda 3, I use a rotary button to select buttons. When scrolling all the way to the end for the report button, it would be very helpful for the selection to remain at that button, instead of resetting to the first on the list (which currently is Cancel drive).

Navigation Banner Location Left/Right
Seems to be on android auto the navigation banner goes top left which can be really difficult to read at times, especially since in the UK we drive on the right hand side, it could be easily fixed/implemented because apple car play already displays it top right.

doesn't project the map from my Samsung A16 to the car screen
It needs to project from my Samsung A16 phone to the car map screen through Bluetooth Android. Google map does this easily but Waze doesn't work with my Toyota Corolla 2021 map screen.

Settings speedlimit,....
Waze on android auto does not keep (notification) settings made in the phone app, therefore I do not receive a tone when exceeding speedlimit. Or any other changes I made to standard waze settings.
It works (my settings) if I start up waze on my phone first and start route, before getting into the car. But doesn't work (my settings) when Android Auto starts up waze!
I'm used to the audible speed warning, please fix this bug.

Optimisation
Pouvez-vous faire refonte globale de waze pour Androïd Auto ? Il manque la possibilité de zoomer, dézoomer, pivoter à 2 doigts comme sur les téléphones. Faite une refonte générale du design ? Je veux que l'indicateur d'affichage des panneau de vitesse et la vitesse augmente afin d'être plus visible. Pouvez-vous aussi rajouter d'autres choix voix qui peuvent indiquer le changement de signalisation ?

Una vez se pone el destino, en Android Auto, no se puede saber a donde vamos o al menos no sé como puedo ver el destino. Podemos estar navegando a un destino equivocado al no tener esta posibilidad

Reduce Notification Nuisanse and Other Icons obscuring the route, and Language issues
Notifications for Speed Cameras, Speed Humps, or Other Hazards need not take up the so much space, particularly in Android Auto. Navigation lane guidance must take priority, and the notifications should auto dismiss after passing the speed cam or speed hump within a second. Currently, the speed hump notifations remain on screen 10 seconds AFTER passing the hump which makes absolutely NO SENSE. Another BIG annoyance is when approaching destination is that the entire map is suddenly cluttered with parking places, which makes no sense again as it completely obscures the route. Keep navigation instructions in a fixed position when alerts appear
When using Waze through Android Auto, the next-turn navigation instructions are normally displayed in the upper-left corner of the car screen, showing the next maneuver and the remaining distance.
However, when a Waze alert appears (speed camera, hazard, police, etc.), the alert takes that position and the navigation instructions are moved to the right.
In areas with many alerts, this becomes quite distracting while driving. The navigation instructions keep changing position on the screen, so instead of being able to quickly glance at the same location to see the next turn, you have to look for where the instructions have…1 vote
