Cardinal directions on the map!
Cardinal directions on the map! GPS often can't tell which way you're facing immediately so you can't tell which way wazs is telling you to take your first tirn, causing you to need to guess which way to take said first turn, ESPECIALLY when there are no road signs to tell you which road waze is talking about, and when Murphy's law kicks in and you take the wrong first turn you end up cussing at waze and doing a pointless uturn that could have been avoided of waze was clear about which way it thinks is right/left on xyz…

Emoji marks for favorite locations
I like to mark locations that I use often, locations that I want to visit, and places that I visited. And these locations marked with different type of marks. For example; if I visited a place and liked it I put heart emoji, if it's my home I want to put home emoji. These emojis will display on the map all the time. Look up and add a stop on planned route for coffee, food or gas.
While on a planned route, have the option to select food, coffee, gas that is shown on the planned route, in the direction you are driving.

Aire d'autoroute
Serait-il possible de pouvoir d'une part d'indiquer les aire d'autoroute avec leurs différents services comme les points de restauration et les stations services sur les autoroutes et également ajouter une option de recherche pour les aires et les restaurants pour trouver où s'arrêter en fonction de nos critères, qualité, services,etc et SURTOUT en fonction de l'heure d'arriver. Évidemment pas a la minute prêt mais qu'on puisse avoir les aires et restaurants qui nous correspondent atteignable entre 12h et 13h en fonction des bouchons etc.

Map should prioritize route ahead on screen
In addition to "Keep map north up" on or off (the only options I see currently), I'd like an option that does an offset to navigation direction (map north up "off") where it tries to fit more of the road ahead on the screen.
I regularly drive curvy roads and it shows me no warnings ahead on the highway when the road just curves left or right straight off the screen. What I'm suggesting would not keep North up, but keep the road ahead up and on-screen more often. This is probably more helpful on highways than in towns, so…

notify of road construction concrete barriers that block shoulder
I would like a feature that shows the temporary concrete barriers that block shoulder access. I would like the option to be be rerouted around those portions of the highway.

Helicopter Icon
I would like to suggest you to put back the helicopter icon available again.
As I, I think that are so many Waze users that are helicopters pilots and liked to use the helicopter as their car icon.

North up changes desperately needed
I am trying to use Waze with the map displayed in the direction I’m actually going, North Up, Because with the map always moving what is actually North to just keep my direction always going towards the top of the screen one loses all perspective on where things are. When one would read a paper map one would always keep the map north up, that way you could always learn your relative position to other places. Remove background colour from street names
Hi
Could you please remove the colour at street names and make it very clear so we can see the turns and roundabout. Most of the time it's appear at turns so we get confused which exit on roundabout we have to take. It totally vanished the roundabout Most of the time. Remove Blue Tinted Night Mode
The new updated changes the base color of the map when engaged in night mode. This map is extremely hard to read in dark conditions, and the overall color scheme is unpleasant. The original night mode used an all gray color scheme. Please allow user to revert back to the original or remove it all together!

Speed indicator
When the phone is in landscape mode, the speed indicator can be sometimes hidden by the lanes indicator when it pops up.
Is it possible to put the speed indicator on the foreground or move it when it is hidden under another object?

Showing lane signs even without navigation
Sometimes you drive without navigation and reach an intersection where some of the lanes go in different directions, and because of the road conditions the signs are hidden and it is impossible to understand which lane to choose.
It would be useful if the directions of travel in each lane were displayed on the screen, as there is during navigation but without highlighting any lane.3 votes -

Seasonal car icon
Last night I changed my car icon to be the bulldozer, my children have suggested it should be carrying pumpkins instead of tomatoes at this time of year and maybe Christmas puds in December.
